Wealth does not exist in nature and must be created. Business isn’t about “getting” money, but about making it. Money must be earned; wealth must be created. Materially success requires the work on the part of someone, somewhere, somehow.
This socialistic views regarding economics are inherently flawed. They misunderstand the nature of wealth. Any rational understanding of economics must be founded on the recognition that all wealth in society requires a rational, creative, honest “producers” or entreprenuers — anything other view is faulty.
Business and Honesty
Honesty is a dying virtue in modern society, with honesty often being seen as a “rude” approach to personal life and a pointless concept in business. But it’s not true.
Honesty is critical to systematic moral and financial success.
Yes, there are many who get away with stealing pennies or dimes, but the trust they lose costs them fortunes. There are some who get away with billions, but the damage to their soul is untold.
What shall a man profit if he gains the whole world and lose his soul? Business is not simply a question of math, but a question of values and achieving those values — all business must be based on morality, and, specifically, honesty. Any other approach to business will bankrupt a society both financially and morally.
